Adelaide’s Emily Melgar breaks national visitor record at BNI chapter event.

BNI Team

Emily Melgar, managing director of Enable College, is a distinguished member of BNI Advantage in the Adelaide CBD & South region. Her remarkable BNI journey has seen her garner several accolades, including the region’s and national top ten list, Rookie of the Year (2023), and BNI Champion (2023).

In March this year, Emily made history by drawing an astounding 46 unique visitors to a single chapter meeting, breaking the national record.

As Australia’s largest BNI chapter, the 64 members worked especially hard to invite visitors, resulting in 135 members, visitors, and guests, including local health services and government representatives, attending the event.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of an expanded visitor host team, meticulous planning ensured a smoothly run event despite the overwhelming numbers. The leadership team also efficiently ran the meeting, impressively sticking to the schedule and finishing on time.
