1. Tell us about Xsell

Over the years, through working with a number of agencies in South Australia, Xsell Property Director Andrew saw a recurring theme that didn’t feel quite right. He saw people being mistreated, both within teams as well as clients. Unethical practices were in the spotlight in the media and Andrew knew there was a better way when it came to operating a Real Estate Agency.

So, in 2015 he created an atmosphere and environment where team members could thrive, a place where people were valued, could grow and be rewarded for their unique contribution. Andrew knew, that if he could keep his team happy, they would in turn keep his clients happy.

2. When and why did you join BNI?

I joined BNI less than 6 months ago as I wanted to be part of a likeminded group where we all can grow together. I believe that with organised structure and teamwork, we can all get there quicker.

3. What’s your favourite thing about being an Advantage Avenger?

The best thing is knowing you have an awesome team behind you that can help any of your family/friends & peers and knowing they will be looked after.

4. Who is your spirit Avenger and why?

I am going to say Hawkeye (Clint Barton) Unlike most, he doesn’t possess a “power” as such. He is human who is highly skilled in combat and with a bow & arrow. One would assume he surely couldn’t be an avenger due to having no powers however he possesses an incredible mindset, positivity and compassion. I believe these attributes are the most powerful…. Or maybe I can just be Thor because he’s super cool

5. Best piece of advice you ever received?

Never react when emotional, as that decision is never logical.

6. What’s your top tip for finding and passing high value referrals?

It’s important to listen to people and understand their pain point. This should give you enough information to then match the person’s problem with one of our fellow Avengers who can provide that solution. Listen more, talk less. At that point, you can notify them that you know someone who can potentially solve this problem with minimal stress and suggest they touch base with them.

7. Who is Andrew outside of business?

I am an active person! I am very routine driven to ensure I get the most of my day! I play sports and love spending time with my family (especially my daughter)

9. For you, what would be the ultimate BNI Advantage social event?

Imagine going to Cyprus where we all hang out at the beach sipping on a beverage of your choice and eating quality seafood?

10. What are your top three goals for the next three years?

  • to be a present father and husband
  • grow my businesses by recruiting the right people so I can leverage time
  • to become less reactive and more in control of my emotions
